About Corrugated
Containers

Corrugated board is essentially a paper sandwich consisting of corrugated medium layered between inside and outside liner board.
Materials used in
Corrugated Containers

The liners and medium that make up the corrugated sheet are both forms of paperboard. Paperboard is made primarily from cellulose fibers found in wood. The fibers are held together by lignin . Fibers are separated from the wood in one of three ways: mechanical, chemical, and semi chemical. Mechanical involves chipping and grinding the wood into increasingly smaller units. Chemical separation, or pulping, uses sulfite or sulfate to dissolve the lignin. This is also known as the Kraft process. This method produces the highest yields with the least damage to fibers, thus the strongest paper. The semi-chem process combines the mechanical and the chemical methods.

Box Types
Also known as a Regular Slotted Carton, this is the most commonly produced boxes. All flaps have the same length and the two outer flaps (normally the lengthwise flaps) are one-half the container's width, so that they meet at the center of the box when folded. This is a highly efficient design for many applications and there is very little manufacturing waste.
Box Dimensions
Box sizes are measured by using inner dimensions unless otherwise specified.

The size of your contents actually determine the inner box dimensions. The dimensions are listed in the following sequence: Length (L) x Width (W) x Depth (D).

How we Ship
Our Boxes are shipped flat, on plastic skids, wrapped in plastic and band wrapped with corner protection to ensure less damage on delivery. This equals less waste more profit for you.
Designing your box
As the boxes are constructed flat, they are a blank canvas and are ready to be customized to your needs. With artwork that you provide or that we create boxes can take on any characteristic that is required.
How Boxes
are made

The strength of a corrugated box starts with its material. A corrugated sheet consists of two major components - liner board and medium. Liner board is the flat paper that covers both sides of the sheet and the medium is the "fluted" or arched paper found between both liners. The flute, when anchored to the liner boards with a starched based adhesive, resists bending and pressure from all directions. When placed vertically on its ends, the flutes form vertical columns, capable of supporting considerable amounts of weight.
What to do with
used Boxes

Like any recyclable commodity, the market price fluctuates. The factors that affect the price of corrugated cardboard include mill
capacity, the general provincial and national economic health, expanding recycling programs (such as the municipal blue box programs) and material bans.
